For Sit a Bit Ltd, our joinery and fit-out works helped bring to life a richly layered interior inspired by colonial Hong Kong and the fictional character Lucy Wong — a glamorous host known for blending traditional Cantonese culture with sophisticated London entertaining.
Working alongside the wider design vision by KAI Interiors, our role was to help realise a bold and highly detailed hospitality environment, including the main bar, dining and lounge spaces, and outdoor courtyard. The project demanded a thoughtful and practical approach, particularly as delivery was shaped by the challenges of COVID-related restrictions, requiring flexibility, coordination and careful problem-solving throughout.
Through bespoke joinery and considered detailing, the space was crafted to reflect the contrast of East meets West — combining contemporary finishes with subtle references to traditional Hong Kong design. The result is a distinctive and immersive venue with strong visual identity, designed not only to enhance the guest experience but also to support the operational and commercial goals of the business.
From a functional perspective, the fit-out contributes to a layout that maximises seated covers, supports a premium food and drink offering, and encourages guests to stay and enjoy the venue throughout the evening — from dining through to cocktails and live entertainment.
